Jack of all trades

Well I have joined the nursing agency (goodbye family weekends) , I am going to become a pampered chef sales person (So any of you who read this in Sheffield surrounding area and would like a show please let me know as I need an initial six to get started and so far have only two possibilities so far). And my story is just about ready to be sent to publishers, how exciting. So I feel quite industrious at the moment oh yes and there are still those lesson at the end of February, so I am a teacher too. And last but most importantly I am mum. Variety is exciting I guess.

Does anyone know how to put tape recordings onto the computer, we have something special for some of you to listen too but need to get it off the tape.

Buy an audio cable to connect the headphone socket of your tape player to the microphone socket of your computer. You can get one for, I guess, 5 pounds from any electrical store. Do they still have Tandy in the UK?!?! Dixons?!?! Radioshack?? Or whatever. Basically the cable has both ends the same - like a headphone cable.

Anyway, once you have one of those, just use something like Windows Sound Recorder (which EVERY PC has!), then play the tape and click the red "Record" button at the same time. Easy.

By the way, Chloe, did you know you can get your book published through companies that operate over the web? You email them your document, they will print and bind the whole thing professionally and send it to your house! All for a little more than the cost of buying a book in the shops! Have a seach on Google for book publishers
